Auburn Sports Breakdown: Auburn recruiting skyrockets with RB commit, 2010 Championship player dies, Auburn freshman undergoes surgery

Tank Bigsby, a 4-star running back out of Hogansville, GA committed to Auburn over Georgia and South Carolina on Friday. The speedster just needs to move up two places to become a 5-star. Auburn has found its running back of the future. His name is Tank Bigsby. And with that commitment, Auburn has skyrocketed to 6th Nationally in recruiting rankings.

A member of Auburn's 2010 National Championship team has reportedly passed away. Jamar Travis reportedly died but the reason for his untimely passing was unapparent. Auburn is yet to release something about Travis. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Travis family. RIP #74

Auburn freshman running back Mark Antony-Richards underwent surgery on his right leg earlier this week. The 4-star freshman signee is questionable for the Oregon game.

Apparently the QB's are approaching perfection. Gatewood and Nix are still going head to head but they've been heating up wildly. That's good for Auburn. That's really good.

Fan Day was amazing as expected with the players getting to autograph balls and shirts. It was a unique opportunity for fans to interact wth the guys they'll be cheering for this fall.
